From tossing the dozens of cups from those Starbucks lattes we guzzle every month in recycle containers to opting for our favorite Frozen themed grocery bag over plastic, it’s no secret that we’re living in a more environmentally conscious world. What started in 1970 has now evolved into a lifestyle shift that has many of us more mindful. This Earth Day, April 22nd, marks the 45th annual celebration of our Mother Earth. With major events in cities like New York and Boston taking place this year, you might start to feel as though you’ll be missing out on all the fun. Luckily, in the RGV, we are just as passionate about environmental awareness. We have so much diversity in our nature, birds and wildlife, it is a natural fit that we would want to protect all of it!

This Earth Day, celebrate your love for our beautiful planet and head out to one of these local events to learn more about what you can do to ensure a brighter future for our environment.
